Tiny Home Village
Stay Close to the Mission
The future Tiny Home Village at Lone Star Rescue Ranch is being planned as a peaceful, mission-connected lodging experience where guests, donors, volunteers, families, and visiting partners can stay close to the animals, the land, and the purpose of the ranch. This village is part of the long-term LSRR vision: a place where rescue, education, community, hospitality, and sustainability work together to support the animals.
A Future Ranch Stay With Purpose
The Tiny Home Village is being designed as more than overnight lodging. It is intended to become a mission-supporting part of the ranch, helping generate earned revenue that can support animal care, rescue operations, education programs, and long-term sustainability. Future guests may include donors, volunteers, visiting families, education partners, therapy-centered program participants, strategic partners, and supporters who want to experience the ranch in a deeper way. LSRR is currently in its Phase 0 foundation stage. Tiny Home Village interest is being collected now so we can plan demand, design the guest experience, and build this program responsibly in a future phase.
What the Tiny Home Village May Include
Future plans may include:
A small village of comfortable guest tiny homes
Peaceful ranch views
Walking access to approved visitor areas
Donor and supporter stays
Volunteer retreat opportunities
Family ranch visit packages
Education partner lodging
Small group retreat possibilities
Outdoor seating and gathering areas
Connection to trails, pond areas, and ranch programming
Clear guest rules that protect animals, staff, and visitors
The final design, number of units, pricing, schedule, and availability will depend on land planning, funding, zoning, utilities, staffing, insurance, safety requirements, and operational readiness.
Mission-Supporting Hospitality
Every stay should support the mission. Revenue from the future Tiny Home Village may help support:
Dog and horse rescue operations
Animal food, supplies, and enrichment
Veterinary and rehabilitation needs
Education programs
Therapy-centered programming
Volunteer support
Facility maintenance
Long-term ranch sustainability
The goal is to create a guest experience that feels meaningful, peaceful, and connected to rescue work — while also helping the ranch become less dependent on donations alone over time.
Who the Tiny Home Village Is For
The future Tiny Home Village may serve:
Animal-loving families
Donors and sponsors
Volunteers
Visiting partners
School or education groups
Therapy-centered program participants
Corporate volunteer teams
Retreat groups
Supporters traveling to visit the ranch
People who want a quiet Texas ranch experience connected to a greater purpose
This will not be a party-style lodging model. The village will be designed around respect for animals, quiet enjoyment, safety, and mission alignment.
Guest Experience Vision
A future stay at Lone Star Rescue Ranch may include opportunities such as:
Guided ranch tours
Founder or staff briefings
Approved animal viewing areas
Volunteer service opportunities
Education sessions
Outdoor walks
Sunset seating areas
Donor appreciation visits
Family-friendly ranch experiences
Special event weekends
Quiet time away from the city
Guest access to animal areas will always depend on safety, staff supervision, animal health, and ranch operations.
Designed Around Animal Safety
The Tiny Home Village must be planned carefully so guest activity never interferes with animal care.
Future guest rules may include:
No unsupervised access to animal housing areas
No feeding animals without staff approval
No entering barns, kennels, paddocks, or clinical areas without permission
Quiet hours
Leash and pet rules
Restricted service areas
Signed guest waivers
Emergency contact procedures
Biosecurity and cleanliness standards
Respect for staff, volunteers, animals, and other guests
The village should support the animals — never stress them.
Phase 0 Status
Lone Star Rescue Ranch is currently in Phase 0 foundation and development. That means the Tiny Home Village is not yet open for bookings. During Phase 0, LSRR is collecting interest, building the support base, developing the campus plan, identifying funding needs, and preparing the structure needed before future lodging can be offered. You can help now by joining the interest list, supporting Phase 0, sponsoring future guest lodging, donating professional services, or connecting LSRR with hospitality, construction, design, utility, or land planning partners.
Sponsorship and Naming Opportunities
Supporters may eventually have the opportunity to sponsor or help fund parts of the Tiny Home Village.
Possible future opportunities may include:
Tiny home sponsorship
Guest cabin naming
Trail or seating area sponsorship
Family visit sponsorship
Volunteer lodging support
Donor retreat sponsorship
In-kind construction or design support
Furnishing, bedding, appliance, or utility donations
All sponsorship and naming opportunities will be confirmed as the campus plan, budget, and legal structure are finalized.
Help create a place where every stay supports rescue.
The future Tiny Home Village will give supporters a way to experience Lone Star Rescue Ranch while helping fund the mission behind it. Join the interest list, support Phase 0, or ask how you can help bring this part of the ranch to life.
