Meet The Team
The Founder / Executive Director leads the overall vision, planning, fundraising, partnerships, and public representation of Lone Star Rescue Ranch. This role is responsible for moving LSRR from concept to launch by building the foundation, recruiting supporters, coordinating advisors, and protecting the mission as the ranch grows.

Social Media & Community Outreach Coordinator
The Social Media & Community Outreach Coordinator manages LSRR’s public voice across social media, email updates, launch announcements, supporter stories, and campaign posts. This role helps grow Founding Followers, attract volunteers, promote donation campaigns, and keep the community engaged with visible progress.

Administrative / CRM Coordinator
The Administrative / CRM Coordinator maintains the supporter database, donor records, contact forms, email lists, documents, calendars, and internal tracking systems. This role helps keep the organization organized, responsive, and ready for fundraising, volunteer management, and future operations.
Grace Whitaker
Grant Writer / Funding Development Lead
The Grant Writer researches, prepares, and submits grant applications to foundations, animal welfare funders, community partners, and public funding sources. This role helps turn the LSRR vision into clear funding requests, impact statements, budgets, and reports that support Phase 0 and future ranch development.
Additional leadership and program roles will be added as Lone Star Rescue Ranch moves from Phase 0 planning into active operations.

Grant Writer / Grant Research Volunteer
Lone Star Rescue Ranch is seeking a volunteer grant writer or grant research volunteer to help identify funding opportunities and support early grant preparation during Phase 0: Foundation & Funding.
This flexible, remote-friendly role may include researching grants, organizing funding prospects, preparing reusable grant language, drafting letters of inquiry, and helping build a grant calendar.
As the ranch grows, this volunteer role may lead to consideration for a future paid full-time position, depending on funding, performance, organizational needs, and phase progression.
